We are eight days away from the start of a new Premier League season, and there is a familiar face on top of the odds table.
Manchester City are the favorites to win a third straight Premier League title, just as they were when the market opened in May.
City have moved from an opening of -160 to -175 at FanDuel, but are unchanged at both DraftKings and Caesars. They've reinforced their attack for the new season, signing Erling Haaland for Borussia Dortmund but have also seen Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus depart for title challengers Chelsea and Arsenal respectively.
The closest to City are Liverpool, priced at +250 on DraftKings. They were +185 at the time of opening. They spend big on striker Darwin Nunez from Benfica but also lost Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich. Finishing with 92 points but still finishing second to City's 93, it remains to be seen if they've done enough in the transfer market to overtake City.
