Penn State added a very talented shot-maker from Massachusetts to its family today. Dallion Johnson is currently the lone recruit coming in next season but he will fill a position of need. The 6-foot-2 guard from Andover, out of Phillips Academy, weighs in at 170 pounds.

Johnson is currently listed as a 0.8898 recruit in the 247Sports composite rankings and will likely improve on that in his final season. By the time he gets to Penn State he will be one of the more highly-touted recruits to join the team in recent years.

With another season to improve, Johnson is currently ranked 153 nationally. That puts him slightly ahead of where Rasir Bolton and Myles Dread were at this point in the process, in terms of ranking against the rest of the players in the country.
