Tight end Vernon Davis and Patrick Willis are listed as questionable on the 49ers' day-before-game injury report. One player however seems a lot more likely to play than the other. Davis (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis this week. (The only full practice occurred on Tuesday). Willis (groin) did not practice this week. Neither did cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (knee). They are likely to be replaced by Michael Wilhoite and Tramaine Brock respectively Thursday against the Rams. Aldon Smith is not currently on the roster as he seeks treatment for what the team has termed "a personal matter." Dan Skuta and rookie Corey Lemonier will fill in for him at right outside linebacker. For more on Skuta -- my guess is he'll start and Lemonier will come in on passing downs -- click here. Meanwhile receiver Kyle Williams also is listed as questionable with both rib and knee injuries. Williams also practiced Tuesday and neither injury is considered serious. Williams has served as both the team's No. 2 receiver and its punt returner through the first three weeks. Tackle Anthony Davis also went through a limited practice Tuesday. For the Rams offensive tackle Roger Saffold (knee) and defensive end Williams Hayes (knee) will not play.
