Steph Curry’s long layover away from the court could be coming to an end this weekend. Curry, who is recovering from a sprained right ankle, scrimmaged behind a closed curtain at Thursday’s practice, and Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr said if all goes well he should be available for Saturday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies at Oracle Arena. The Warriors’ superstar point guard, however, will likely miss Friday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets. “I doubt he’ll play tomorrow with the back-to-back, I don’t think it makes much sense,” Kerr said. “He’s probably going to want to, but I would say it’s more likely that he’ll play Saturday. If all goes well, I expect him to play Saturday. But even if it goes well, I would not expect him to play tomorrow.” Kerr said that the team didn’t have enough volunteers for a full five-on-five scrimmage, so Curry was doing a three-on-three scrimmage.
