Left tackle Trent Williams made his return to the field Sunday in Redskins’ loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He played through a right knee injury that will require surgery and had sidelined him for the previous two games. Williams started and played every snap in the game. “I just came to a point where I know it ain’t gonna get any better,” Williams said. “It’s probably not going to get any worse. So, I might as well just push through it until I can’t. I just wanted to push through the day and be there for my teammates. I knew it was going to be a big game.” Williams suffered the injury in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He made consecutive starts following the bye week against the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles, but Williams opted to rest during the previous two games to see if the injury would get better.
