Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has admitted he will make changes to the club’s style of play next season, but refused to discuss transfer targets on Saturday.
The Frenchman is back in charge again following a shambolic season for Los Blancos that will end without a major trophy and he will lead a rebuilding project at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Asked about a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, he said: “You can ask. I’ll reply what I like. I’m not going to discuss any names or anything. What I can tell you is that we are working on it and we will talk about it when the time comes.
“Now we have to talk about the teams we are going to play. Later, I will talk to the club about the profile of players, because I know what I want.”
When it was put to him that Gareth Bale will be one of the players to make way this summer, Zidane said: “We haven’t spoken about that. We have a game tomorrow (against Athletic Club) and we are going to think about that.”
