Sources tell Tony Pauline of DraftAnalyst.com that Rams CB Trumaine Johnson is expected to the Raiders’ No. 1 target in free agency this offseason. Pauline adds that Johnson will likely have “numerous” suitors in free agency, but the Raiders believe he would be a great fit next to former first-round CB Gareon Conley. The Rams just agreed to a trade with the Chiefs for CB Marcus Peters, which likely means Johnson will be playing elsewhere at the start of the 2018 season. There’s no question that the Raiders could use some more help at cornerback and Johnson will be among the best available options. However, it’s likely going to take a large offer to get him under contract long term.
