The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have assigned defenceman Paul Postma to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League on a conditioning loan. Postma, 24, played in eight games with the Winnipeg Jets so far this season before suffering a blood clot that has sidelined him since Oct. 27/13. The Red Deer, AB native has played in 46 career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg for nine career points (4G, 5A) and 12 penalty minutes.
