After leaving Friday's win against the New York Islanders with injuries, Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty and Victor Mete defenceman are heading back home to Montreal for further evaluation by the team's medical staff. Pacioretty is dealing with a lower-body injury while Mete has a hand issue. Pacioretty, 29, has 17 goals and 20 assists over 64 games in 2017-18, his 10th season in the Montreal.
