The Nationals officially activated Stephen Strasburg from the 10-day disabled list, and the right-hander will make his return Saturday against the Padres at Petco Park. Strasburg took Max Scherzer’s spot on the roster after he was placed on the disabled list Friday with neck inflammation. No other roster move was announced. Strasburg, 29, hasn’t pitched for Washington since exiting a start against the Diamondbacks after two innings on July 23. He was placed on the disabled list four days later with a right elbow impingement. He surrendered one run in five innings in a rehab start for Class A Potomac on Monday.
