Manchester United will continue their pursuit of Jadon Sancho despite Borussia Dortmund's claim that their £108million-rated star will stay at the German club next season.
However, United are growing increasingly frustrated at the slow pace of discussions and Dortmund's insistence on using intermediaries to negotiate the deal.
Dortmund's valuation of the England winger continues to be a stumbling block along with the players' wages and his agent's fees. United are determined not to repeat the mistakes of the past few years which has seen them make some costly mistakes in the transfer market.
Sancho was part of the Dortmund squad which flew out to Switzerland on Monday after the deadline on the deal the German's attempted to impose passed without a deal being struck between them and United.
