While both teams are out of playoff contention, the Giants and the Redskins will both be playing for division pride Sunday. The Giants managed to end the Redskins’ playoff hopes in Week 17 last year when they had nothing to play for, which will surely be in the minds of Washington’s players this week. Here are three key matchups that will go a long way to deciding the winner. Giants LT Ereck Flowers vs. Redskins OLB Junior Galette The Giants starting left tackle has been heavily criticized since they selected him 10th overall in 2015. He struggled early in his career and has been the go-to name for fans to blame whenever protection breaks down. The Redskins have had Ryan Kerrigan and Preston Smith pick up plenty of sacks recently, but Junior Galette is the rusher most likely to give Flowers issues. Galette beat Flowers for a sack in Week 12 with a stutter step inside before bursting with speed to the edge. Flowers doesn’t adjust to changes in speed particularly well, which is something Galette excels at.
Junior Galette’s speed could prove too much for Ereck Flowers
