Jordan Lynch’s best chance to make a first impression likely won’t come until the Bears’ season opener Friday against the Eagles. Just ask Matt Forte, who, along with veteran Shaun Draughn and second-year player Michael Ford, has gotten the most carries during training camp. “He ain’t got many reps,” Forte said after practice Friday at Olivet Nazarene University. “It’s tough on those guys. We’re going into it, coaches telling them, ‘Your reps are going to be basically in the preseason games.’ ” Lynch is converting to running back after a stellar career at quarterback at Northern Illinois. He has been competing with draftee Ka’Deem Carey and undrafted free agent Senorise Perry behind the veterans. “It’s going to be up to him in the preseason games to show what he has,” Forte said. Dominant ‘D’ One day after the offense dominated goal-line situations, the defense fought back, led by linebacker Lance Briggs, who made “a couple of great plays,” according to coach Marc Trestman .
