The Baltimore Ravens watched two starters leave the field with injuries in the first half of Saturday's preseason game at the Dallas Cowboys. Cornerback Jimmy Smith bruised his chest on the opening series, and running back Ray Rice injured his shoulder. X-rays to both Smith's chest and Rice's shoulder were reportedly negative. Neither returned to the game. Smith was injured when he elevated to defend Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant along the sideline. He landed on his back and then spit blood on the field. Dominique Franks replaced Smith and was quickly beaten by Bryant for a 31-yard touchdown, the Cowboys' first score of the night.
