Nick Saban flipped two of Jimbo Fisher’s top commitments in the 2017 cycle while the new Texas A&M coach still called Florida State home. Saban took to Fisher’s commit list once again on Friday as four-star defensive tackle Bobby Brown flipped to Alabama just a couple days after decommitting from Texas A&M. “It’s Bama,” Brown told BOL of why he would commit to Alabama. “Ain’t really too much to say about that one. You can’t complain about really anything with Alabama. They’ve got a good football program, a really good school, especially in the part I want to major in. The educational part – they’ve got the No. 1 graduation rate. Then it also has a really good engineering program. The engineering dean, he works real well with athletes. It’s a really good campus. Alabama is Tuscaloosa.” A longtime Tide lean, Brown gave a verbal pledge to the Aggies in late October after a late push from Kevin Sumlin and staff. That, however, didn’t stop the Tide from pursuing the elite defensive lineman considering its need at the position. Nick Saban and Tosh Lupoi went in home with Brown and his mother late last month. Lupoi has since been back twice.
