ARSENAL have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Sevilla star Steven N'Zonzi. Everton boss Sam Allardyce was rumoured to be eyeing the defensive midfielder as well as Gunners manager Arsene Wenger. But Allardyce has admitted that despite his admiration for N'Zonzi, other areas of his squad need strengthening more urgently. The 29-year-old is widely expected to leave the La Liga outfit this January after falling out with previous boss Eduardo Berizzo. N'Zonzi was spotted at Gatwick airport last week amid rumours a Premier League switch is on the cards.
