One of the best aspects of minor league baseball is the often fragile relationship between the team managers and the on-field officials.

With so many teams and games to choose from, manager meltdowns are a very common occurrence. And now, in the social media age, you get the sense that some of these tantrums are simply set-ups to get featured on Sportscenter or PSD RedZone.

This week's submission comes from Winston-Salem Dash manager Tommy Thompson. This one came in the final home game of the season for the Dash, so there is a chance that this may have just been done as a show for the fans...all 12 of them.

Thompson removed his shoes and left them at home plate, REALLY got in the face of the home plate umpire and the crew chief, and heaved a stray helmet 30 rows deep into the seats behind home plate. Pretty good meltdown.

My favorite part of the video is the guy filming it (or the guy standing next to the guy filming it) who really, really enjoyed this tantrum too much.

Very good, very entertaining...but nowhere near as good as Joe Mikulik's striptease from last week or the greatest minor league manager meltdown of all time.
