I grade ridiculous sporting moments on how I would react if something like that were to happen in a video game, how upset could I reasonably be. If this ever happened in FIFA I would turn off the console and don’t think I would ever play the game again.
According to Sky Sports, a Thailand Cup set-final between Bangkok Sports Club and Satri Anything was tied at two and went to penalties. A marathon shoot-out took place and it was 19-19 when Bangkok’s keeper stepped up to take his penalty. His shot smashed into the crossbar and into the sky.
Satri’s keeper ran to celebrate with his teammates, the ball then fell back to earth. And like someone was controlling it with a joystick and button mashing it rolled into the back of the net.
Just watch - you almost hope that this is a staged stunt, cause that keeper looks devastated.
Never ever celebrate too early in a penalty shootout. 🙈 😂 pic.twitter.com/v3OtL5lykf— FOX Sports Asia (@FOXSportsAsia) October 21, 2017
