In honour of Super Bowl LI this weekend in Houston the Late Night circuit had NFL-themed content ready to go. None of it was particularly original, it was all actually sequels to previous years material. Which is kinda the way Late Night comedy works, if something is successful, do it again and again and again until everyone hates it.

Jimmy Kimmel had stars like as Odell Beckham Jr., Tony Romo, Rob Gronkowski, J.J. Watt and several other past and present NFL superstars take turns getting roasted by Twitter trolls.

Over on Conan, he released the third annual Clues Gamer Super Bowl Edition in which he invites a player from each of the competing teams to play a video game. This year it was Tom Brady and Dwight Freeney playing ‘For Honor’ and a couple of favorites showed up to add some laughs to the segment.

As for Jimmy Fallon he brought out the puppies and not the kinda Jerry Lawlor used to talk about. The puppies are cute and use their magical powers to predict champions.
