Ryan Rayburn of the Cleveland Indians is hardly a defensive genius, but what he did on Thursday night against the Kansas City Royals is as bad as it gets.

With one out in the bottom of the eighth inning, Mike Moustakas stepped to the plate in a scoreless game. That's when the fun started in left field.

In total fairness to Rayburn, it isn't like he was trying to spike the ball into left center. He clearly changed his mind on the throw half-way through and lost the grip on the ball...doesn't make it any less funny.

The worst part of the entire situation for Rayburn is that the Royals ended up winning the game in extra innings, in large part to the Mike Moustakas "inside the park home run".
