Memphis Grizzlies coach Dave Fizdale was heated following his team’s 96-82 loss to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series on Monday.

The Grizzlies trailed the Spurs by 19 points at halftime. However, they didn’t lay down and mounted a furious comeback in the second half to pull within four points early in the fourth quarter.

Fizdale was pleased with his team’s effort, but says they were unable to overtake the Spurs and the questionable officiating. The refs called almost twice as many fouls on the Grizz, and Spurs star Kawhi Leonard shot 19 free throws, which was four more than the entire Memphis team.

So, Fizdale went off during the postgame interview and it was glorious, but unfortunately it is going to earn him a phone call from NBA commissioner Adam Silver and likely hurt the Grizzlies coaches bank account.
