I haven’t talked to any happy Chicago Bears fans lately and nothing that happened over the weekend helped. The Bears sent two third-round picks and a fourth-round pick to San Francisco to move up one spot to draft quarterback UNC QB Mitch Trubisky. The main reason for the outrage among fans is it appears that they didn’t need to make the trade to get Trubisky, as the 49ers weren’t getting any other offers for the pick and they wanted to draft Solomon Thomas.

At the end of the day if Trubisky ends up becoming a franchise quarterback this won’t matter, but that’s a big if. The trade was a cloud over everything else the Bears did with their other four picks of the draft, including I-AA North Carolina A&T running back Tarik Cohen, chosen in the fourth round.

Back in 2015 backflip videos were all the rage and Cohen thought that catching one pass, one handed while doing a backflip was too easy. So he upped the stakes by making two one-handed catches while doing a backflip.

He told ESPN:

“It started because I had seen someone else do it first, so we were bored in the summer after conditioning and we just decided to go out and try it,” said Cohen, the MEAC’s all-time leading rusher. “The first two times I think I fell, and the third time I pulled it off pretty naturally, and that’s when I got the hang of it because I stopped being scared.”

But yeah, sorry Bears fans, your team is going to stink and it appears your GM isn’t very good at his job. At least you guys have the Cubs?
