meh, there is only so much you can get from a stat like that.
so much of it has to do with the specific QB's awareness and release time.
for example, the steeler's or patriot's lines looks like crap, when alot of it has to do with roth+cassel holding onto the ball too long.


and im sure that not all sacks are attributed properly.(ex: what happens if they overload one side, do all the rushers count as a possible sack allowed?. or if there is a blown assignment, who is to determine who's sack that was.?)

HUGE difference between playing LT and LG. LT you go up against the best pass rusher the NFL has to offer. LG you go up against a DT(Usually UT) and have help to the outside and inside meaning the guy only has one go, straight forward. You can also argue him as a bust since where he was drafted is way too early for an OG that isn't extremely dominant.. Even Hutch that early wouldn't have been a great pick.

there is MUCH more to playing on the Oline than sacks allowed..
faneca is allworld.
in case you didnt notice, their running game suffered mightily.
they dropped to 23rd in rushing yards per game, and 29th in yards per carry.
they were 3rd and 7th last year in those categories.
