"With rookie camp now behind him, Jeremy Maclin can say with some degree of certainty that he's ready for the professional level.

Even those concerns -- from fans and media -- about the receiver's adjustments from the simpler spread offense to Andy Reid's intricate West Coast schemes don't seem to be an issue.

"They're coming along just great," he said Friday after the final rookie minicamp practice. "I think that's no longer a question anymore."

Maclin, running back LeSean McCoy and tight end Cornelius Ingram -- the team's top three draft picks from April -- were central figures in the team's rookie and selected veteran minicamp, which concluded with Friday's practice.

If they can adjust seamlessly into the offense, they'll give Donovan McNabb the added weaponry that highlights the quarterback's wish list each off-season.

Rookies historically struggle to master the playbook and make inroads in the first months, but all three believe they made enough strides in the six practices that began last Thursday to feel confident about their futures.

"It kind of makes us rookies play better and develop us as players," McCoy said of the camps. "Once you get the pads on and really start running around here and really hitting, it'll kind of take off."

Contact won't come until training camp, but rookies get their second chance to practice with the entire team on Tuesday, when two weeks of full-team minicamp begins.
