Hossa Delaying Decision

Hossa has been on the Canadiens' radar since the trading deadline and he'll take at least another day before making his decision. The Canadiens are reportedly on his short list of four or five teams, but Gainey could be hamstrung by the salary cap. The signing of Kostitsyn leaves him with $10.881 million in unused cap space and he still has to negotiate with restricted free- agents Mikhail Grabovski, Ryan O'Byrne, Josh Gorges and Jaroslav Halak.
