It could be SRO in the auditorium when Andy Reid takes the podium at 11:30 a.m., and folks won't be there to hear about how the Eagles are looking forward to the challenge of playing the Kansas City Chiefs.Sensing the interest in their third-string quarterback, the Eagles announced on their Web site yesterday that Vick would join Dave Spadaro "in studio" for his Web show at 11 a.m. It helps to be affiliated with the team.Vick wouldn't talk to the reporters who gathered yesterday morning at the George W. Pepper Middle School, where Vick delivered about a 10-minute spiel about the importance of staying in school and of making wise decisions. It was his second such speech to schoolchildren in Philadelphia since the regular season started, and the kids, predictably, were mesmerized.Seems everyone is watching Vick these days.Judging by Reid's use of the Wildcat formation thus far this season, Vick could get on the field for upward of a dozen plays on Sunday. There's no chance he'll start at quarterback. If Donovan McNabb can't play, Kevin Kolb will start, Vick will be listed as the backup, and Jeff Garcia will be the emergency quarterback.And know this: Everyone in the NFL will be watching to see what Vick's got. How big of an adjustment for him is the speed of the game? Can he read and react quickly enough to cause the Chiefs' defense problems? Has he lost a step after spending time in prison?"
