Cleveland Cavaliers sign guard Daniel Gibson to five-year contract

Daniel "Boobie" Gibson admitted he lost a lot of sleep after missing the last two games of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Boston Celtics. Gibson suffered a separated shoulder in Game 5, and the Celtics went on to beat the Cavs in seven games en route to winning the NBA title. "It feels like I let my guys down," Gibson said. But in an effort to make sure he's on board for any future successes, Gibson signed a five-year, $20.8 million deal with the team on Tuesday night. "We're excited to have Daniel back," Cavs General Manager Danny Ferry said in a conference call with reporters on Wednesday.
