Zion Williamson, one of the top high school basketball players in the nation, announced his commitment to Duke during a press conference at his school on Saturday night.

A 6-foot-6 internet sensation from Spartanburg, S.C., Williamson narrowed his list of schools to five – Clemson, Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina and South Carolina. He made his announced live on ESPN2.

"I would like to thank South Carolina and Clemson for even taking the time to recruit me, but my mom said it best, I had to follow my heart and go to where my happiness is," Williamson told ESPN after making his commitment. "I still have a lot of love for my state and I don't want people to mistake that."

According to ESPN, Williamson is the No. 2 player in the 2018 class behind Duke commit R.J. Barrett. As Williamson joins Barrett in Durham, it'll give Mike Krzyzewski commitments from the top three players in the class, according to ESPN.
