As it stands, both Chelsea and Liverpool can win the league if they win all their games, provided Manchester City slip up in one of their remaining fixtures.

But any of Liverpool's final four games has the capacity to trip up a side who are not used to be being in the lead on the home straight.

And Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech cranked up the pressure on the Premier League leaders ahead of the visit of Chelsea to Anfield on Sunday, April 27 by saying: "Let's see how they cope when it comes to the last hurdle."

City defender Martin Demichelis also waded in. He said: "Liverpool can still make mistakes. No one left the stadium on Sunday feeling they were champions."

Chelsea and City boast a wealth of title winners in their ranks, while Brendan Rodgers' side may not realise the hard part is still to come.

"We have players who played in big games," said Cech. "It is going to be a help for the next games.

"Sometimes when you have a young team around you, often they don't feel any pressure. No one expected anything from Liverpool and they are in contention and that is why they play without pressure so far. But let's see how they are going to cope when it comes to the last hurdle.
