"General manager Jon Daniels revealed on Thursday that he and six-time All-Star Michael Young have met twice this spring to clear the air and possibly repair their relationship after Young requested a trade shortly before spring training.Young said that the meetings took place Wednesday and Thursday, and that neither he nor Daniels minced words when it came to the ordeal that hung over the club for about two weeks last month."I laid out in detail what I was feeling, what my concerns were and gave him the opportunity to do the same," Young said. "Anytime you're going to sit down with somebody where there's a problem or an issue and air things out face-to-face, it's always productive."Young would not say if he still wants to be traded, but Daniels does not expect a deal to materialize before the season opens April 1. He also said that Young has a full understanding of where things stand."Could something change? I'm not going to rule it out," Daniels said. "But I do not anticipate a trade.""
