"Veteran Vince Young practiced with the first-team offense at the Eagles' Wednesday morning walkthrough, a strong indication that Young – and not Mike Kafka – will start at quarterback against the Giants Sunday night if injured Michael Vick can't play.

Eagles head coach Andy Reid said at his Wednesday afternoon media availability that Young and Kafka would split reps at practice later Wednesday with Vick unavailable after breaking two ribs in the Eagles' loss to the Cards on Sunday.

Reid declined to comment on how he planned to split up the reps.
