Yi was a surprise Wednesday in than he scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds in his first game since Nov. 2. And because he is the designated starting power forward, interim coach Kiki Vandeweghe said it just makes sense to get him back to his intended role ASAP.

"I think it's better to just make it definitive: 'Here's what we're going to do, let's get the rotations and let's understand our role,'" Vandeweghe said. "Whether it hurts somebody or it doesn't hurt somebody, I think it's the way to do it."
