"Nets coach Kiki Vandeweghe called struggling and banged-up forward Yi Jianlian a game-time decision. Yi already has decided he will play.
Those sighs of relief came from the Nets' marketing department, which decided it would celebrate Chinese culture tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Yi has been playing with pain in his shoulder and back. He's scored fewer than 10 points in four straight games and was 2-for-13 in Friday's loss to Toronto. But Yi vowed to bounce back.
"Just an off night," Yi said after practice Saturday. "It's not going to happen again."
Consider the Grizzlies warned"
