Mark Reynolds has agreed to a deal with the Yankees CBSSports.com has learned.

Reynolds will help with the Yankees' right-handed power which has been an issue most of the year. Reynolds had 15 home runs 48 RBI and a .215 batting average when he was designated for assignment by the Indians.

Reynolds has hit 14 home runs against the Yankeees in 165 at-bats most vs any AL team.

The Yankees have had a lack of right-handed power most of the year due to injuries and defections -- though its been a little better lately with the return of embattled third baseman Alex Rodriguez and a bit of a resurgence by Vernon Wells.
