Apparently Brandon Lloyd really doesn't want to play football this year.

Lloyd has been approached by at least six teams about a possibly playing in 2013 and has turned down each offer according to ProFootballTalk. Among the teams that have approached Lloyd are the Patriots Jets and 49ers.

Lloyd spent the 2012 season with Tom Brady and the Patriots racking up 74 catches for 911 yards and four touchdowns. The 32-year-old receiver was cut by the Patriots in March mainly because New England didn't want to pay him a $3 million roster bonus he would've been due in 2013.

Heading into Thursday's game against the Jets the Patriots are hurting at receiver. Danny Amendola has been listed as doubtful for the game with a groin injury and 2012 second-round draft pick Aaron Dobson didn't play in Week 1 because of a hamstring injury.
