"Kerry Wood said Tuesday he had no idea a documentary focusing on Steve Bartman interfering with a supposedly catchable foul ball in the 2003 National League Championship Series was airing on ESPN while the Cubs were taking batting practice.

But Wood, one of two remaining Cubs (along with Aramis Ramirez) from that team, said he plans to catch a rerun of the film later this month.

"Hope the guy is able to live a normal life," Wood said. "It's a shame he had to go through what he went through. Unfortunately, I don't think much about him. I know his life was changed by that incident. I guess it'd be nice to figure out where he's at and what has been going on.""
