Stars defenseman Stephane Robidas might be the hardest working man in hockey.

Despite leading the Stars in average time on ice for the past three seasons, Robidas also is typically the first person on the practice ice and one of the last off of it. He almost never takes an ``optional'' practice off and he rarely skips workouts in the summer.

He says it's because he had to work so hard to get to the NHL.

``That's just what I'm used to,'' he said. ``I really went so long where I felt I had to prove myself every game, every practice, that's just what I'm comfortable with now. I like skating, I like practice, I like hockey. I want to be out there as much as I can.''
