Winslow lets Browns know he's around

"Buccaneers TE Kellen Winslow did not have to talk about playing Cleveland for everyone to know how he felt about his former team.

Winslow showed exactly where he stood.

Before Sunday's season opener, Winslow was the last player introduced for the Bucs. Winslow ran into Raymond James Stadium in front of the announced crowd of 47,211 with a Bucs flag and headed straight toward the Browns sideline. It was there Winslow waved the flag in front of his former team.

Winslow's ultimate message was sent as Tampa Bay pulled off a 17-14 victory.

"It's just having fun," Winslow said. "If you can intimidate them, or get them out of their game, get them thinking about other stuff, I'm all for it."

Winslow, who had four receptions for 32 yards, was traded from Cleveland to Tampa Bay in 2009. Cleveland drafted Winslow sixth overall in 2004, but he was traded after five seasons after Eric Mangini took over as coach.

The trade is something Winslow has not forgotten.

"When I got traded, it felt personal," Winslow said. "I'm in a better situation now with a coach like Raheem Morris.

"When you get traded, cut or released, it is personal because that wasn't the situation I should be in. They came in and wanted his guys. That's just how it is, but I moved on."

Bucs CB Ronde Barber is glad he landed in Tampa.

"I have no idea how he was in Cleveland, but I'll take him as a teammate any day," Barber said. "I'll take 20 guys like that.""
