"Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk. Playing together. Imagine the offensive potential.
And right now, that's all it's turning out to be: A figment of the Wings' imagination.
"They're not going to be together," Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said Wednesday. "I just played Pav and Z together nine straight games. Through that time, we haven't done enough, so I'm not playing them together.
"We need more people going. Maybe they can help them get going. They have to help themselves as well. We have to change some things up and see if we can't do a better job."
The Red Wings have scored five goals the last five games — all losses.
Datsyuk has eight points (two goals) in 10 games, while Zetterberg has four points (two goals), also in 10 games."
