Willian says he is waiting for Liverpool to made a bid as the Brazilian eyes a “dream” move to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old sealed a move to Anzhi Makhachkala from Shakhtar Donetsk for €35m (£30.4m) in January after being heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League.

In recent weeks Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a swoop for the Brazil international as the Reds manager bids to bolster his squad ahead of another tilt at breaking into the top four.

And Willian says he wants to move to the Premier League adding Anzhi’s owner Suleyman Kerimov is happy for the South American to leave the Russian outfit.

“For now all there is are talks. I haven’t received anything official yet” Willian told ESPN Brasil.
“There was the Manchester City bid [a few weeks ago of €40 million (£34.1m)] that was turned down [before Kerimov made his decision to sellthe players] and that was a while ago.
