The night before Super Bowl 52 in Minneapolis, the Saints and Rams cleaned up on individual awards, while surely lamenting missing out on the ultimate award the next day.

A year from now, one of those loaded, on-the-rise NFC teams will have much more to celebrate in Atlanta at Super Bowl 53. Very early congratulations are in order for … Sean Payton, Drew Brees and the Saints.

Separated from possibly playing in this year’s game by a Minneapolis Miracle, the Saints will withstand supernatural interventions, as well as the Rams, and walk away with the second Lombardi Trophy in franchise history and of the storied Payton-Brees collaboration.

Joining in to take them over the top will be the offensive and defensive rookies of the year from Saturday night, Alvin Kamara and Marshon Lattimore, respectively.
