"Jerry Williams and his wife arrived in a limousine to the swanky, three-story town house of their son, White Sox general manager Ken Williams, Monday afternoon only to find the place an uncharacteristic mess.
The home, located near Grant Park, had beer bottles scattered about, an empty pizza box and a strong odor of fish, the elder Williams recalled.
"My wife says, 'Something's just not right,'" Jerry Williams told the Tribune on Tuesday in a brief interview inside his son's town house. "We know he doesn't leave his home like this. We didn't teach him that.""
