"Oilers defenceman Theo Peckham often goes for the big hit, only to pull himself out of proper position, thus leaking scoring chances against his own team. Peckham often pinches at the wrong moment or fails to position himself correctly to break up opposition rushes or cross-ice passes. He's a fierce hitter and checker — much to the delight of many fans — and he's also OK with the puck on his stick, but he beats himself with mental errors, improper reads.
Worst of all, he seems to be regressing.
