West Ham midfielder Jack Collison is set to join Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the season and could even play in the FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal.

Collison has failed to secure a regular first-team place at Upton Park and has already been sent out on loan to Bournemouth this season.

The Wales international is out of contract at the end of the season and seems unlikely to stay at Upton Park.

Wigan manager Uwe Rosler is looking to strengthen his squad and has also been linked with a move for Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell.
