West Ham are on the brink of a double swoop that would see two Italian internationals arrive at Upton Park to bolster the Hammers fight against relegation.

Reports in Italy suggest that a loan deal for Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino has already been agreed, while a similar move for Roma striker Marco Borriello is also nearing completion.

It is thought Nocerino will fly to London on Friday for a medical and he could well be joined in the capital by Borriello.

Nocerino, who has 15 caps for Italy and has also played for Juventus and Palermo, will reportedly receive the same salary at West Ham as he currently receives at Milan for the duration of the deal.

Borriello is also said to be intrigued by the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
