The Golden State Warriors are projected to spend more than $1.1 billion in player salary and luxury tax payments between the 17-18 season and 20-21.

"Finances are the only thing that will break up this Warriors team," said one league executive.

While Stephen Curry is signed for four more seasons, Kevin Durant can become a free agent again this offseason. Durant could sign a four-year, $158 million deal in 2018 or wait for 2019 when he would be eligible for a five-year, $219 million contract when the Warriors attain full Bird rights on him.

Draymond Green and Klay Thompson could potentially become eligible for Designated Veteran Player Extensions, but they only have one slot remaining as Curry already signed one.
