"As another round of Carmelo Anthony-to-the-Knicks reports hit the fan, team president Donnie Walsh insisted Sunday that he's "maybe a little [further]" along in terms of talking with teams to determine if he can do something by the Feb. 24 trade deadline.

But he insisted there's nothing imminent.

The latest reports indicate a three-way deal could be in the works to send Eddy Curry (and his expiring $11.3 million contract) plus Anthony Randolph to Minnesota, which would send a first-round pick plus swingman Corey Brewer to Denver.

The Nuggets would also get Wilson Chandler from the Knicks, who'd get Anthony.

As is, that means Denver would surrender their star for just Chandler, Brewer and a first-rounder.

Walsh wouldn't address any specifics, but did say of his trade talks, "We're getting a feeling of possibilities.""
