According to a sabermetric measure called "Win Probability Added," Joey Votto's 3-homer game last Sunday - capped by a walkoff grand slam - was the most dramatically prolific offensive day in 143 years of Reds' victories.

For sheer drama - coming through in the clutch with his team tied or trailing - only Reds pinch-hitter Art Shamsky on Aug. 12, 1966, had a more prolific day than Votto, but Shamsky's heroics came in a 14-11 loss in 12 innings.
