"Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby has been experiencing soreness in his surgically-repaired left knee, but an examination by team doctor Don Roberts on Monday showed no reason for concern.

The only conclusion out of Monday's meeting with the team's medical staff was that Camby would make a change in the medication he is taking for the knee, which was operated on for a partially torn meniscus on Jan. 20.

The soreness is considered normal for a player who underwent surgery, especially for a player like Camby, who turns 37 on March 22.

Camby injured the knee on Jan. 17 and missed 16 games. He returned on Feb. 25 against Denver but has been a shadow of the impact player he was before his injury."
