Virginia Tech junior guard Justin Robinson has been fully cleared to return to the team, Hokies head coach Buzz Williams has informed FanRag Sports. As a result of his looming return, Robinson will play “limited minutes” during Virginia Tech’s upcoming exhibition matchup against the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Leading to the up-and-comer’s original absence, Robinson has been dealing with a lingering quad injury.

The junior guard is now gearing up for his third collegiate campaign, all of which have come as a member of the Hokies. As a freshman back in 2015-16, Robinson averaged 7.3 points, 2.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 0.6 steals over the course of 23.2 minutes per game.
